These rice terraces that follow the contours of the mountain had been here for roughly 2,000 years. Dubbed as the eight wonder of the world, these rice terraces are carved out of rocky mountainsides in most of the Cordillera Provinces -- following sacred traditions and skill passed on to generations. On the average, these rice terraces are 1,500 meters above sea level.
I've got a lot of questions lately(after posting those aerials of this place) on what these rice terraces(and places) look like from the ground. Good thing I have the good old film photos that I scanned. Well, there's not too many, but I think this would be enough. Not a problem inserting this into the photo stream. Photo taken by my Pentax IQZoom 110 35mm point and shoot film camera, almost a decade ago.
